KCWC - day 7

Today is the last day of  KCWC! I haven't done any sewing but I did make some plain shoes a bit more interesting! These shoes were such a hit and lasted so well when I made them a while ago, I decided to do make them for my little man again!

:: plain canvas shoe + a fine and thick Sharpie permanent marker

:: draw some lines with fine Sharpie marker

:: draw triangles - it doesn't matter if they are a bit crooked

:: colour them in with the thick Sharpie marker

:: some cool new shoes :)
I've had a great week doing the KCWC and making some things for my little man! I think I might concerntrate on making myself some clothes next week, now I have the sewing bug :)

Hope you are having a great weekend!

  1. This is such a cool idea, so simple but so effective. And since the previous pair have survived a good trampling through wet grass and stamping through muddy puddles it's obviously practical as well as decorative.

Good on you for completing the KCWC week!

  2. Too cool for school. Love how neatly you did it - did you use a pencil first or you just went for it with the Sharpie?

  3. Thanks for this great post. I felt inspired to create a pair of shoes for my little guy.... (although my triangles came out way wonky... who knew that triangles were so difficult to draw?)
