She bought the fabric from IKEA... love their fabric designs! She requested a slightly bigger bag than mine, so I altered the pattern to about 5cm bigger, end result - width 38cm x height 30cm. It's a great size and I think I'm going to make myself a new one!

I am so please with how it turned out and so was Maria, so much so that she sent me a photo of her and her new bag out, having dinner... too funny!

ReplyDeleteIt's obvious that you've taken a lot of care with the construction, it looks superb, and I love the fabric that Maria chose, nice combination of patterns. I haven't been to Ikea for ages, I really must check out their current fabric range.

wow this is a lovely bag (it seems to have the perfect size for me as well;)and one of my favorite fabrics from ikea!;) I´ve made some cushions from it for our home.
